Waste-to-energy and waste-to-materials: sustainable path for circular economy implementation in Tunisia

Short Biography:

Prof. Aïda BEN HASSEN TRABELSI is Doctor Engineer in Bio-Geochemistry. She got her Engineering degree from the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis (Tunisia) in 2001, her Master Degree in 2003 and her PhD in 2007 from Orleans University (France). Since October 2009, she is working as a researcher at the Research and  Technology Centre of Energy (Technopark of Borj-Cédria, Tunisia). She is conducting research activities in many branches of the environmental sciences and mainly on Environmental management, Waste Management, Waste-to-Energy, Biofuels, Biochar, Sustainable Development, Climate change, Circular Economy, etc.
